BUYING GUIDE

Define the specification and provenance

For a classic such as a Miura or Countach, ask for chassis and engine details, ownership records, restoration invoices and evidence supporting any special history. For a modern car, establish the exact variant, market specification and factory equipment. Unusual provenance claims need supporting documentation.

Choose checks suited to the car

Discuss a marque-specialist inspection where available. The scope should reflect the model and may include service records, diagnostics, driveline operation, cooling, suspension, brakes and structural condition. Ask what access the seller permits and whether a workshop visit is needed.

Arrange transport around the vehicle

Low ground clearance, dimensions, running condition and insurance requirements affect the shipping plan. Discuss loading arrangements before choosing a method. A car located in Japan is not automatically eligible for every destination; confirm the individual vehicle’s import route first.

Questions to ask before buying

  • Identity, model specification and documentation for any claimed provenance.
  • Service and restoration records, prior repairs and originality.
  • Model-appropriate mechanical checks by an agreed specialist.
  • Loading clearance, transport arrangements and destination eligibility.

Lamborghini: common questions

Can you source a Miura or Countach?

Yes, send your exact requirements and budget. Availability and documentation will be checked for each candidate.

Does left-hand drive mean U.S. import eligibility?

No. Steering position alone does not establish safety or emissions certification. The individual car’s documents and applicable import route must be checked.

Will Han inspect every listing before I enquire?

No. These are third-party dealer listings. Additional inspection is arranged after the scope, access and costs are agreed.
